Reflection - 4

As today marks August 1st, I can’t believe I’m just eight days away from the release of my memoir, The Blessing of Transition: Finding Strength in Change.

While writing and editing this book, I found myself returning — again and again — to seven specific items. I never planned it that way. But these things helped me feel grounded. They helped me relax, reset, and dive deeper into my thoughts. Somehow, they always brought me back to myself.

I remember one day, a friend asked me why I always turned to the same seven items. I laughed it off at first, but she went out and bought every single one — and later told me how they had become part of her own daily ritual, as well. That moment sparked something.

If my best friend could find comfort in the same things that comforted me… Maybe others would too.

And that’s how JVB’s Return To Self Collection was born — a limited offering of the exact items that carried me through the writing of this memoir and the healing that came with it.

Whether you’re reading The Blessing of Transition, journaling through your own story, or simply slowing down at the end of a long day — I truly believe these seven pieces can support your own return to self.

The full collection will be available on August 9, 2025 — the same day the memoir is released.

Visit: https://www.jordanvictorbrown.com/merchandise to see each item up close, learn why they mean the world to me, and choose one (or more) to make part of your own story.

If you can’t pick them all up, try just one. And watch how it transforms your reading experience.

Until Next Time,

Be Kind To Yourself. Be Patient With Yourself.
