Reflections - 6
When I released The Blessing of Transition: Finding Strength in Change, I had no idea what would happen next. I knew it was personal. I knew it was honest. But I didn’t expect the flood of messages that came pouring in after. People calling me, texting me, emailing, DMing—saying things like, “I felt like you were telling my story,” or “Your words gave me permission to feel again.”
That kind of feedback? It humbles you. It grounds you. It makes you pause and realize that maybe your story wasn’t just meant for you—it was meant to spark something in others.
And that’s exactly what happened. People didn’t just want to read the memoir. They wanted to keep the conversation going. They wanted space. A space where they could reflect, process, heal, grow, and be reminded that they’re not alone. That’s how this podcast was born.
Reflections By JVB: The Jordan Victor Brown Podcast officially launches Thursday, October 16, 2025.
This podcast is my way of continuing that conversation—not through curated posts or polished visuals, but through voice. Through sound. Through the very same spoken honesty that helped carry me through some of the most pivotal years of my life.
It’s audio-only on purpose. No video. Just you and me—whether you’re walking, driving, cooking, or simply sitting in silence. I didn’t want this to be something that demands your full attention. I wanted it to be something that flows with your day, supports your thoughts, and offers you comfort when you need it most.
Every episode will be a reflection—sometimes quiet, sometimes raw- always real. I’ll speak about themes that show up in life when we least expect them. Growth. Identity. Creativity. Healing. Faith. Purpose. Things we all wrestle with but rarely say out loud.
This podcast isn’t just for me—it’s for anyone who’s ever asked, “What now?” or “Why me?” or “How do I keep going?”
It’s for the person sitting in their transition, not yet knowing that it’s a gift.
It’s for the ones who’ve felt too much, held too much, and are finally ready to let some of it go.
You can find the podcast across all my social media platforms and streaming services. And of course, you can click and listen to it right here below this reflection.
If something resonates, I hope you’ll share it. If something moves you, I hope you’ll come back. There’s no pressure, no calendar. Just reflections—as they come, as they arrive, as they’re meant to be shared.
Thank you for being here. Thank you for being open.
Until Next Time,
Be Kind To Yourself. Be Patient With Yourself.
All My Best,
-JVB
